Vergnet, manufacturer of medium scale wind turbines, has announced it has joined forces with Wind Turbines as it develops the growing medium wind energy sector.
The partnership between Vergnet, which is headquartered in France, and Wind Turbines based in Manchester, was formalised this week with both companies working on a range of GB wind energy projects.
Vergnet has worked with developers worldwide with a track record of over 830 wind turbines, including 23 in the UK. Wind Turbines is a wind energy company which has been operating from the North West of England for many years.
The company assists farmers and developers through every phase of a medium wind energy project from conception through to grid connection and maintenance.
Vergnet’s partnership with Wind Turbines UK comes at a time of growth for the UK medium wind energy market, which almost doubled in size in 2012, according to a recent report from RenewableUK.
Vergnet and Wind Turbines will work together to develop turnkey medium wind energy projects including site feasibility, planning, finance, installation, commissioning, FiT (Feed-in Tariff) registration, and a full package of warranties and after sales service.
Vergnet european sales manager Diana Popa commented: “We are delighted to formally announce our partnership with Wind Turbines UK. The company is highly driven and, as a family business, provides a very personal service to farmers and wind energy developers. We were impressed by Wind Turbines UK’s very open and honest approach with its customers. The company clearly goes the extra mile for its customers and we believe there are significant synergies in the approach to project management and customer service.”
